Creative Life is alweer bijna! Op 23, 24, en 25 maart kan je in de Werkspoor Kathedraal terecht voor jouw creatieve inspiratie. Nog maar zes en halve week en dan gaat dit feestje weer van start. Ik ben dit jaar redelijk op tijd begonnen dus bij deze een blogje met wat er allemaal te doen is op mijn stand :).

Workshops
Zoals op elke beurs geef ik dit jaar ook weer workshops! Het voorjaar komt eraan dus tijdens deze workshop leer je hoe je een papieren Narcis kan maken met florist crêpe-papier. Ik leg je alle basics uit, na de workshop neem je een bloem mee die helemaal klaar is. Natuurlijk help ik je om stap voor stap een mooie bloem te maken.

De workshop begint 13.30u en duurt 30-45 minuten. Kosten zijn €10,- per persoon. Je kan vooraf inschrijven via info@splendith.nl.

Workshops Brushlettering bij Mevrouw Knot
Deze workshop is gewoon op de eigen stand van Mevrouw Knot, want zoals je misschien wel weet geef ik zelf geen workshops in lettering. Je leert natuurlijk het beste van de pro's. Dus, ben jij ook zo’n fan van al die mooi geschreven quotes en zou je dit zelf ook wel willen leren? Schuif dan gezellig aan tijdens een van de workshops Brushlettering van Milou en leer schrijven met penseel!

In deze workshop leer je de basistechnieken van het schrijven met penseel en inkt. Aan de hand van een aantal oefeningen en voorbeeld letters maak je kennis met deze vorm van handwriting. Je oefent niet alleen, je gaat meteen een stapje verder. Je kan meteen van jouw favoriete quote een toffe Art Print maken! Zo ga je niet alleen naar huis met nieuwe technieken en bakken inspiratie, maar ook met jouw zelf gemaakte mini poster om thuis in te lijsten. En: aan  het einde van de workshop kan je wat materialen uit mijn shop uitproberen! Yay, hoe leuk.

Demo's Kijk Kalligrafie
Dit jaar heeft Joyce van Kijk Kalligrafie geen stand op Creative Life, toen dachten we: hoe leuk zou het zijn om toch iets samen te doen? Joyce geeft meerdere demo's gedurende de dagen op mijn stand. Dus wil je kijken hoe de master herself aan het schrijven is? Kom dan vooral even langs! Ben je benieuwd naar het werk van Joyce? --> www.kijkkalligrafie.nl

Wat is er te koop?
Ik krijg al best wat vraagjes over welke materialen ik allemaal meeneem. Dat vind ik zelf ook nog een lastige ;). Ik wil dus gewoon alles meenemen en kan nooit zo goed kiezen wat ik precies mee neem. Helaas kan ik niet álles meenemen. Er zijn een aantal dingen die ik sowieso mee neem en dat is al een hele verzameling.

Alle materialen voor papieren  bloemen en stempels maken. Verder: Ecoline potjes en Ecoline brushpennen, brushpennen sets, Microns, Finetec (de losse kleurtjes en paletten), aquarelpapier, Rhodia, Holbein Acryla en potloden, Princeton penselen, kalligrafienibs, penhouders, zwarte inkt, Bleed Proof White en Bombay inkt, drawing gum pennen.

Ik twijfel dus nog over een paar dingen. Laat me vooral weten als je specifiek iets wil zien, dan kan ik dat misschien ook meenemen.

Creative Life is almost here! On 23, 24, and 25 March 2018 you can go to the Werkspoor Cathedral for your creative inspiration. Only six and a half weeks before this party will start again. I started fairly on time this year, so here is a blog with everything there is to do at my stand :).

Workshops
As at every fair, I also give workshops this year! Spring is coming, so during this workshop you will learn how to make a paper Daffodils with florist crepe paper. I'll explain all the basics to you, after the workshop you take a flower with you that is completely ready. Of course I'll help you to make a beautiful flower step by step.

The workshop starts at 1.30 pm and lasts 30-45 minutes. Costs are € 10 per person. You can register in advance via info@splendith.nl.

Workshops Brushlettering at Mevrouw Knot
This workshop is just on Mevrouw Knot's own booth, because as you may know I don't give workshops in lettering myself. You will learn best from the pros. So, are you such a fan of all those beautifully written quotes and would you like to learn this yourself? Then join us during one of the Brushlettering workshops by Milou and learn to write with a brush!

In this workshop you will learn the basic techniques of writing with a brush and ink. You'll become acquainted with this form of handwriting on the basis of a number of exercises and example letters. You don't just practice, you immediately take it a step further. You can  turn your favorite quote into a great Art Print! This way you not only go home with new techniques and lots of inspiration, but also with your self-made mini poster to frame at home. And: at the end of the workshop you can try out some materials from my shop! Yay, how nice.

Demos Watch Calligraphy
This year Joyce from KijkKalligafie won't have a booth at Creative Life, so we thought: how nice would it be to do something together? Joyce will give several demos during the days at my booth. What is there for sale?
I already get quite a few questions about which materials I am bringing. I also find that a difficult one myself;). I just want to take everything with me but I can never choose exactly what to take with me. Unfortunately, I cannot take everything with me. There are a number of things that I take with me, and that is already quite a collection.

I'm bringing all materials for making paper flowers and stamps. Furthermore: Ecoline pots and Ecoline brush pens, brush pen sets, Microns, Coliro (the individual colors and palettes), watercolor paper, Rhodia, Holbein Acryla and pencils, Princeton brushes, calligraphy nibs, pen holders, black ink, Bleed Proof White and Bombay ink, drawing eraser pens.

I still have a few doubts about it. Please let me know if you want to see something specifically, so I might be able to take that with me.
